The Solvay Park

The Solvay Park is a regional domain and offers some of the nicest walks in Belgium. It hosts the Béthune Castle (1842) with French gardens and the Folon Foundation, dedicated to the renowned Belgian artist of the 20th century (1934-2005).

The Hergé Museum

A tribute to one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, not only creator of Tintin and Snowy comic strips but also graphist, publicist, caricaturist, scenarist and painter. The Museum has been designed by Christian de Portzamparc.

The Abbey of Villers-la-Ville

One of the largest Cistercian monastic ensembles in Europe. The ruins proudly stand up in a gorgeous wooden valley. The church, refectory, brewery and mill are trestimonials of daily life of a 13th century abbey.
